Get to know the girl behind the lens


Hello my name is Shelby Messex. I am based out of Polk County Florida. I have lived here all my life and love everything about the sunshine state from our beaches to wild life. I am a Lake Wales High School graduate from the class of 2020. My love for storytelling and photography has existed as long as I can remember, but my journey really started when I was gifted my first professional camera by my sweet mom and uncle in high school. I always took pictures for fun until I really felt called to make it a business. Through my lens I see people the way God sees them, with beauty and purpose and my goal is to help you see yourself as the masterpiece you are. Aside from photography I love the gym, I am a Christ follower, a dog mom, a full time lead dental assistant and on my way to earning a bachelors in psychology at ASU.
